In September, we took a road trip in a rental van and drove across Sweden. We covered about 3,000 kilometers and visited 4 National Parks!
After a night parked by lake Siljan, a highly popular weekend and holiday destination for people from Stockholm, we headed North to Hamra National Park, in Gävleborg county.
The park is a succession of lakes and forests, though mainly wetlands. A system of wooden trails allows hiking through this aera otherwise impossible to navigate.
We knew fall started earlier up in Scandinavia but we were not expected such an explosion of colors right from the start! And we could already tell how relaxing this country was gonna be!
